  • Aramex Australia (previously Fastway)
  • DHL

Carrier Availability Based on Location

Our shipping platform is designed to cater to merchants across Australia. However, the availability of carriers depends on your fulfillment method and location:

  2. Alternative Locations Across Australia: Only Couriers Please and Aramex are available for pick-up.

Adding or removing Carriers from your account

  1. During onboarding the Carriers that are available to you will be added to your account by default.
  2. Contact Customer Success: Reach out to the SKUTOPIA Customer Success team to add or remove carriers from your account. They will assist you in configuring the carriers based on your location and fulfillment needs.

How to Set Up Carrier Delivery Preferences

To configure your delivery preferences on the SKUTOPIA platform, follow these steps:

  1. Specify Preferences During Order Creation: When booking an order pick-up and printing the shipping label, you can choose between "Signature Required" and "Authority to Leave" shipping method options.

  2. Update Default Settings: If you have consistent preferences for all shipments, you can set default delivery options in your SKUTOPIA account settings. This will streamline the process and ensure that your preferences are automatically applied to all orders.

    1. From the settings menu select Carriers

    2. Change the settings for a Carrier by selecting “Settings” on the nominated Carrier

    3. Select between “Authority to leave” or “Verification required upon Delivery” then Save.

Signature Required vs. Authority to Leave

Verification required upon delivery

The recipient must sign for the parcel upon delivery. This ensures that the package is handed directly to a person at the delivery address, providing an additional layer of security.

  • Recommended for orders for high-value items, sensitive documents, or any shipment where proof of delivery is essential.
  • Delivery experience for the recipient: If the recipient is not available to sign, the package will typically be taken to a nearby post office or delivery hub, they’ll receive an email or text alert and a notification card will be left at the recipient's address.

Authority to Leave (ATL)

The package can be left at the recipient's address without a signature if a safe place is available. This option is convenient for recipients who may not be home to accept the delivery.

  • Suitable for lower-value items or when the recipient has a secure location for deliveries.
  • Delivery experience for the recipient: The courier will leave the package in a designated safe place. If the recipient has made a note of where to leave the package the delivery will attempt that location. If no safe place is available, a notification card will be left, and the package will be taken to a nearby post office or delivery hub.
