Troubleshooting: Issues Booking a Shipping Label on the SKUTOPIA Platform

If you're experiencing problems booking a shipping label through the SKUTOPIA platform, it may be due to missing or incomplete information required by the carrier. This guide will help you identify and resolve these issues.

Common Issues and Solutions

Missing or Incomplete Customer Information

Problem: Missing or incomplete customer details such as email, phone number, or complete address.

Solution:

  1. Verify Customer Details: Ensure the customer's email address, phone number, and complete address are entered correctly. 
  2. Update Information: Navigate to the order details page.
  3. Skutopia recommends adding address validation to your website checkout. Shopify plug-ins are available.

Missing Product Information

Problem: Missing product details such as SKU, Parcel weights, HS Code, or Country Code of Origin (especially for international shipments).

Solution:

  1. Verify Product Information:Ensure that the SKU, Parcel weights, HS Code, and Country Code of Origin are entered for each product in the order.
  2. Update Information:Navigate to the product details section of the order.

Carrier-Specific Requirements

Problem: Carrier-specific requirements are not met, preventing booking or rate calculation.

Solution:
